HanYou - Chinese Dictionary and OCR
HanYou is an offline Chinese dictionary designed to help users read and learn Chinese. It is a perfect companion for reading books, manga, signs, and menus and improving Chinese reading skills while enjoying your favorite reading material. HanYou has a powerful offline Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology, which recognizes Chinese characters in pictures and with the device camera. Chinese text is detected, recognized, and parsed into words in a fraction of a second. HanYou provides detailed information about each word and Chinese character, including their pronunciation and definition in English.
In addition to the dictionary, HanYou has a built-in drawing feature, which allows users to draw and translate Chinese characters on the touch-screen with high accuracy. Users can search Chinese words from any kind of input, input characters by keyboard, drawing, and radicals, and listen to the Chinese pronunciation of words through the "Speak" function. HanYou is compatible with Android 4.1 and available for free.
